Vice President, Client Services
Job Description:
A leading investment management firm in Greenwich, CT, seeks a Vice President to join its SMA Operations team. This role supports the firm’s Separately Managed Account (SMA) platform by providing high-touch client service, managing onboarding processes, coordinating cash flows, and driving operational improvements across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver proactive client service, including onboarding of new RIAs and ongoing support
- Manage daily contributions, withdrawals, and transfers for SMA accounts
- Coordinate documentation and communication between legal, business development, and clients
- Collaborate with portfolio implementation and engineering teams to streamline cash flow operations
- Support the launch of new, complex investment strategies
- Identify and address inefficiencies across operational workflows
- Lead or contribute to strategic projects that span multiple departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 6–8 years of experience in asset management, with a focus on client services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; project management experience is a plus
