Our client, a wealth management firm in Westchester County, New York, seeks to hire a Disability Income Specialist. An entrepreneurial opportunity for a driven, disciplined individual to specialize in promoting industry-leading disability insurance products to the local financial services community.

This role focuses on growing and developing a disability insurance profit center by building sales through independent brokers and field representatives. This is an excellent opportunity to help make a meaningful impact on the firm’s entrée into this space.

Compensation:
Includes competitive base salary with commissions, a 401(k) match, and a defined benefit pension plan. Compensation is experience-based.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Make daily sales calls to new and existing brokers to build relationships and identify opportunities.

  • Devote approximately 80% of the time to proactive broker outreach and development.
  • Create and implement a business plan to meet sales and production goals.
  • Convert underperforming brokers into top producers.
  • Lead sales promotion and training meetings.
