Our client, a well-established financial advisory firm in Shelton, CT, is growing and excited to add a Financial Servicing Advisor to their team. The firm`s objective is to provide clients with peace of mind by helping them build comprehensive, optimized financial plans that include asset allocation, tax liability minimizations, wealth management, and retirement planning.

Position Responsibilities

  • Initiate periodic proactive calls to clients to check in on their financial well-being and maintain strong relationships.
  • Complete annual reviews for clients, ensuring that their financial plans align with their changing needs and goals.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial planning concepts, investment strategies, and market trends to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Field small client queries and communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Actively seek opportunities for referrals and bring in new business to the firm. You will receive revenue sharing based on the new business you generate.
  • Participate and actively engage in firm-sponsored events for prospective and existing clients.
  • This position serves as a stepping stone for ambitious candidates who aspire to advance into a Producing Advisor role in the future. As a ServicingAdvisor, you will receive mentorship and opportunities for growth within the firm.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: College degree (preferred)
  • Licensing: Life and Health Insurance Licensed, Series 65 or 66, & CFP (preferred, willing to obtain)
  • 2 + years of financial services experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Entrepreneurial, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel skills are essential)
  • Growth mindset and sincere interest in continuously learning and growing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
