Sales Assistant
Job Description:
Well-known men`s fashion apparel and accessory company with multiple brands needs a Sales Assistant to work in their corporate office/wholesale showroom in the heart of Manhattan`s garment district. This is a Sales Assistant "Wholesale" role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare sales reports, update client records, and maintain organized documentation of all sales activities
- Support the sales team with scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and preparing materials for client meetings
- Assist in setting up and maintaining product displays in the showroom to showcase new arrivals and bestsellers, ensuring a visually appealing presentation for visiting clients
- Conduct regular inventory monitoring, and update stock availability to maintain optimal inventory for sales
- Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and accuracy in inventory records
- Review sales orders details, and coordinate with the Production and shipping teams to ensure prompt fulfillment
- Monitor and update order statuses, proactively communicating with Production any changes or delays
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: - 1 - 3 years experience in office work setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate`s or bachelor`s degree in business, fashion, or related field a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), familiarity with Gmail, and Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Photos) a must
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Interest in men`s fashion and product merchandising is highly desirable
- General interest in fashion also desirable
