Medical Biller

Our client, a medical facility based in Fairfield, CT, is seeking a detail-oriented billing specialist to join their billing department. Certificate must be Hema or APC (American Professional Coders)CPC Billing Coders CPC-$23-27 DOE. Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. There is some scheduling flexibility; they start at 8:00 am. So, earlier or later hours would also work.Responsibilities:

• Post charges, payments, and refunds accurately.
• Handle denial claim follow-up and accounts receivable/payable.
• Conduct credentialing, transmit claims, and manage prior authorizations.
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and clearinghouses.
• Assist with monthly closing, auditing notes, and daily deposits.
