Manufacturing Engineer

Each of these fundamental capabilities provides the client with its competitive advantage.This position is responsible for in-process and final inspection of a wide variety of detailed mechanical parts, electronic assemblies, and finished products. Additionally, this position will support and maintain quality management system activities (ISO 9001, AS9100, FAA, TUV). Key responsibilities - Recommend corrective and preventive action(s) as necessary to achieve process or product quality improvements.
- Conduct product inspection to ensure conformance. This includes evaluation of the supplied product, work-in-process inspection, and final inspection.
- Manage FAA Repair Manual
- Support maintenance of the Engineering Quality System.
- Support Internal and External audits.
- First Article Inspection Report creation and maintenance
- Receiving, In-process, & Final inspection
- Contact vendors for Certifications & Corrective Action responses AR.
- Monitor items with expiration dates (Adhesives, inks, etc.).
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into the quality database.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
