Facilities Director

Our client, an alternative investment manager, is seeking a Facility Director to join their Facilities team. The Facilities Director will oversee the strategic planning, design, construction, and ongoing maintenance of the firm`s properties. Reporting to the Managing Director of Firm Operations, this individual will lead and manage the facilities team - including a building engineer, electrician/mechanic, and maintenance generalist - to ensure all properties operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with firm standards.Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and manage budgets and long-term facilities plans aligned with the firm`s growth trajectory and operational objectives.
  • Oversee the performance of all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management infrastructure.
  • Review and manage vendor contracts to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee contractors involved in facility-related projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of services with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee contracted service providers such as security, food service, janitorial, fitness center, and landscaping.
  • Serve as liaison with building management teams at all GCM facilities.
