Overview
Forest Uniforms is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and energetic Office Administrator to join our New York team. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily office operations, managing order entry, and serving as a point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal staff. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative experience, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day administrative operations including scheduling, filing, and data entry.
Handle order entry, proposals, and invoicing with accuracy and timeliness.
Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring a professional and helpful experience.
Support internal teams with clerical and operational needs, ensuring smooth office functionality.
Maintain and update records, spreadsheets, and reports in Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
Coordinate shipments, packing, and order fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist leadership with ad hoc projects, reports, and general office needs.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in an office or administrative support role.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
Strong phone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Experience in order entry, customer service, or sales support is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with the textile or apparel industry is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
