Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Product Configuration Specialist to provide document control and configuration management support to all department projects and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Configuration Management (CM) activities and will be leading all engineering and production efforts for ECO`s, Work Breakdown Structures, BOMs and Item Master library. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for implementing our new Product Configuration Management software.

Key responsibilities
" Maintain ERP and Product Configuration database as required for item masters, product structures and bill of materials.
" Manage ECO process and collaborate with all responsible parties to ensure the proper execution of all required activities.
" Establish Configuration/Data Management policies and best practices.
" Create work breakdown structures.
" Implement and maintain new Product Configuration Management software.
" Train other employees on Configuration Management processes.
" Analyze proposed changes to product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
" Assist production with Cost Estimation tools and procedures.
" Work with engineers to ensure that project documentation is in accordance with quality and change management procedures and guidelines, to ensure project information is properly organized and archived.
" Coordinate the interaction between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Program Management to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
" Create training materials for employees inside and outside of the department.
" Assist with the completion of drawings red-lined by Project Managers and Engineers.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
" AutoCAD.
" Autodesk Inventor.
" Autodesk Vault or Similar Software.
" Enterprise Resource Planning Software.
" Microsoft Office.
Education and Work Experience:
" 4 years Bachelor of science degree and 5 years of relative work experience, or:
" 2 years Associates degree and 10 years of relative work experience
