Client Services Associate
Job Description:
Global investment management firm located in lower Fairfield County, CT, established over 25 years ago, seeks to hire a Client Services Associate for its Onboarding team.
The Onboarding Team manages a wide variety of complex account events and transitions by coordinating across internal departments and external partners such as custodians, brokers, and clients. The team ensures all deliverables are completed using proprietary workflow tools and maintains consistent communication to meet expectations and timelines.
The firm is currently working 3 days on-site and 2 days remotely. This position offers a base salary and a discretionary bonus, with total compensation of up to $ 150,000 pending experience. Medical insurance is fully covered by the company, and they are conveniently located just steps from the Metro-North station.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently manage account events including launches, terminations, in-kind transfers, and more
• Gain proficiency in proprietary systems and tools
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Drive process improvements and efficiency
• Manage both internal and client inquiries
• Oversee account openings and required documentation
• Coordinate with brokers and service providers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3–7 years of client onboarding experience at a financial institution
- Operational experience, preferably within a hedge fund
- Knowledge of equities and derivative products (OTC, FX, etc.)
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel/SQL
- Detail-oriented with a process-improvement mindset
- Comfortable in a collaborative, high-pressure environment
