Customer Service Representative: You will work onsite 5 days a week in their corporate office in Danbury. In this role, you will work with outside sales staff to support territory growth and provide top-notch customer service to our business customers.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Responds to distributors, OEMs, and Field Sales inquiries regarding price and delivery of orders.
  • Sends assembly instructions and customer drawings as required.
  • Reviews vendor-managed accounts with our key customers.
  • Provides required weekly status reports to key customers and internal departments.
  • Builds supportive relationships with field service and all other Amphenol staff.
  • Alerts field staff to key opportunities and critical problems.
  • Collects competitive intelligence, including past quotations and purchase history.

    Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years of similar work experience, preferably with a large manufacturer or other high-tech industry.
  • Computer proficient, including frequent use of MS Suite (Windows) and Google Business. Can type quickly and accurately.
  • AS400 and EDI experience are highly desirable.
  • You are positive, energetic, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Punctual and reliable, able to commute daily to Danbury (Connecticut).
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug test.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
