Accountant, Junior

Job Description:

Our client, a Greenwich, CT-based business, is seeking a Temp Junior Accountant.

Position Summary:
Accounting for various businesses (RE, Aviation, Operating) and household.
Daily cash booking
Monthly accrual entries
Monthly cash reconciliation
AP oversight – various businesses (RE, Aviation, Operating) and households.
Review and approve Bills (processing of AP performed by an outside vendor)
Answer questions from accounting partners (KR) and vendors.
Monitor AP timelines.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

Financial Reporting

• Monthly financials - various businesses (RE, Aviation, Operating) & Household
  
• Exposure (investments, cash, etc.)
  
• Fund redemptions/liquidity
  
  Other Business Needs
  
• Prep wires for Cap Calls and expense needs
  
• Coordinate /review property taxes
  
• Coordination of other tax materials
  
• Assistance with sub docs for new investments
  

  Requirements:

  Systems
  
• Knowledge of Quickbooks online, Bill.com, and Addepar a plus
  
• Strong Excel skills
