Accounting Associate

Job Description:

As a Finance Associate within our client’s Policy and Reporting group, you will have the chance to develop a diversified skill set and breadth of knowledge that are highly valued across the department. You will also support the department as they continue to transform and improve upon reporting, risk, controls, processes, procedures, and operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Partner with the Director, Accounting Policy and Reporting to produce timely and reliable financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, statutory/regulatory, and management reporting requirements.
  
• Continuously think of improving operational processes so that they achieve the intended outcomes more effectively and efficiently.
  
• Support the Corporate Accounting team with technical accounting research.
  
• Support various aspects of the financial audit
  

  Requirements:

• Bachelor`s degree or higher in Accounting, with a strong academic track record
  
• CPA with 3-5 years of experience, highly preferred experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
  
• Proficient technical accounting writing skills.
  
• Willing to roll up your sleeves to problem-solve and improve processes.
  
• Are highly organized, reliable, and detail oriented.
  
• Advanced Excel skills
