Bookkeeper

Job Description:

A New Haven, CT- based non-profit, is looking to hire a Temporary Part-Time Bookkeeper.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Job description

  • Accounts Receivable: receive and record revenue.
  • Accounts Payable: make payments to vendors and prepare annual form 1099 filings.
  • Review staff timesheets and upload data to payroll service
  • Payroll tax reporting
  • Bank Statement Reconciliations
  • Budget Preparation
  • Customized Reports as requested.
  • Reporting for City, State, or other entity
  • Periodic Financial Statements and participation at review meetings as needed.
  • Year-end coordination with Tax Accountant.
  • Aid in preparing financial information as required to obtain grant funding.
  • Experienced with Sage Accounting Software.
  • This will be a part-time job: 15-20 hours per week as needed - 5 Days in-office.

  • Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
