Bookkeeper
Job Description:
A New Haven, CT- based non-profit, is looking to hire a Temporary Part-Time Bookkeeper.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job description
- Accounts Receivable: receive and record revenue.
- Accounts Payable: make payments to vendors and prepare annual form 1099 filings.
- Review staff timesheets and upload data to payroll service
- Payroll tax reporting
- Bank Statement Reconciliations
- Budget Preparation
- Customized Reports as requested.
- Reporting for City, State, or other entity
- Periodic Financial Statements and participation at review meetings as needed.
- Year-end coordination with Tax Accountant.
- Aid in preparing financial information as required to obtain grant funding.
- Experienced with Sage Accounting Software.
- This will be a part-time job: 15-20 hours per week as needed - 5 Days in-office.
Requirements:
Experience: - Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Location: - In person
Qualifications: : - QuickBooks, Bookkeeping experience in Non-profit, Bookkeeping, grants, Handles invoices.
