Our client, a Stamford, CT-based firm seeks a Temp Senior Benefits Administrator.
Senior Benefits Administrator Description: This is for a SENIOR LEAVE ADMINISTRATOR role. The main focus is LEAVE ADMINISTRATION
Primary Purpose: The primary purpose is to serve as the main contact for employees, managers, and HR BPs during an employee's LOA while ensuring compliance with company, state, jurisdictional and Federal requirements. This role also applies to ADA accommodations. The Senior Administrator - LOA and ADA is also responsible for coordinating ADA claims, including, but not limited to initiating the ADA Interactive Process, manager / HR training, employee communications, overall claim maintenance, and assisting in the determination process.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports.
Oversee the leave of absence claims process:
o Managing communication with employees, manager / HR, disability vendor, etc.
o Perform detailed tracking of all claims.
o Proactive analysis of claims including outreach to the vendor, gathering updates, etc.
Coordination of ADA claims and processes on a timely and efficient basis including:
o Communications o Manager / HR BP training o Evaluation of accommodation requests
o Coordination with appropriate parties when necessary (i.e. internal or external counsel), and compliance with all ADA regulations
o Creation of processes, policies, and tools to administer state, company, and Federal regulations and/or programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The candidate will work a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office/2 days remote) Location can be Novi MI, Northridge CA, Richardson TX, or Stamford CT

Pay rate up to $31 per hour
Stamford CT. The candidate will work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
Business hours are 8 am – 5 pm or 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
- 3-5 years of LEAVE ADMINISTRATION claims experience (i.e. FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.) o 2+ years of ADA experience o Advanced Excel skills REQUIRED.
- Workday knowledge REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of the Payroll process and how it affects Leave processes is highly desired.
- Candidates must have proven ADVANCED LEVEL EXCEL SKILL (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)
- Interviews process: 2 rounds with manager and dept. lead (or potential leadership)
- Experience using Workday is required
Masks are required in general areas of the office, but not at one's desk. No mandatory covid-19 testing is currently required.
