Investor Services Associate

Job Description:

Our client, a small financial services company located in Ridgefield, CT, is currently seeking a highly motivated and well-rounded Investor Services Associate! Because this is a multi-faceted and comprehensive role, the ideal candidate must be experienced, professional, tech savvy, versatile, bright, detail oriented and a self-starter!

Responsibilities:


  • Serve as an Administrative Assistant for the firm while ensuring that the office is always running smoothly
  • Handle routine phone and email correspondence alongside any accompanying scheduling
  • Resolve various office-related issues that may arise, verify that procedural manuals are up to date and run quarterly financial reports
  • Utilize Black Diamond financial reporting software in order to efficiently and effectively run client reports in addition to accurately maintaining client information
  • Maintain customized Salesforce system for company
  • Enter detailed information related to checks and payroll into Peachtree accounting system while running the appropriate reports as well
  • Assist portfolio managers with the delicate handling of various client needs (i.e. receiving the opportunity to work on investment portfolios, including the process of building portfolios)
  • Perform a variety of tasks to ensure that the company`s marketing strategy is continually effective (i.e. promote firm on social media, handle email marketing campaigns and other relevant communications, assist with creating the monthly newsletter, utilize Constant Contact email marketing software)

Requirements:


  • Bachelor`s degree highly preferred
  • Previous experience in financial services industry highly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing, financial reporting and administrative duties required
  • Advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
  • Adaptability, flexibility, tech savviness, detail orientation and strong time management and organization skills a must
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset that is always eager to keep learning ideal
