Accountant
Job Description:
An international private equity firm in Greenwich, CT with over $20 billion in assets under management is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its growing team. Reporting to one of the Controllers, this individual will gain broad exposure to corporate accounting functions, including consolidations, bill-backs, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include, but not limited too:
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations of five entities (four foreign and one domestic).
Manage and execute bill-backs to investment funds in accordance with firm policies.
Lead and support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare and maintain journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Assist with financial statement preparation and internal management reporting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within financial services (asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or related industries).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and consolidation principles.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and intercompany eliminations.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
